first of all u cant compare big b with anyone as what he has achieved no other actor can achieve.and as far as srk reaching amitabhs heights its IMPOSSIBLE srk cant reach near his knees also, i dont understand how can people compare amitabh and srk
amitabh is greatest actor in the world and who says amitabh is not known in foreign countries as i have been to countries like venezula west africa and here people dont know srk but yes they know amitabh very well ,they will say yaa we love watching amitabhs movie so u know who is much more famous.

I think SRK is better than Amitabh personally, professionally and politically because
1. I don't know what Amitabh has contributed to Tsunami victims.
2. SRK has not "used" Gandhi family unlike Amitabh for his "reel" life.
3. Amitabh miserably flopped in "real" life as Loksabha Member.
4. SRK has inter-religious marriage where neither Amitabh or Abishek have not even inter-caste marriage. They may be suffering from Antisocial personality disorder.

i think he'll reach there,at shahrukh's age amitabh was known only in india,infact our movies didn't have an overseas market,but shahrukh has an international fan following too. Infact comparing them is not good, as they are good in themselves. Shahrukh cannot do what amitabh hasdone and vice versa. Thats why when shahrukh goes into amitabk's territory he does give the charecter a bit if himself too,which makes it intersting.

I don't think that Shahrukh has to reach Amitabh's heits as they both are two different great mountains which have their own places and hence it is bad to compare them. People should not drag these two great artists in the war of "Who's great?" as they both have given us quality cinema because of which people like them equally.

shahrukh can't reach amitabh's heights what he can do because no one there like Amitabh i do like shahrukh most but i don't think he will do that. what ever amitabh has done in his life no one has done that.
