What should I get my hubby for Valentines Day??? He doesn't NEED anything and he has most everything that he wants other than a few expensive things... I am only gonna be able to spend like 20 dollars this year, because of other reasons, And he does not like teddy bears, flowers, chocolate, jewelry, or mushy stuff like scrapbooks with pictures, or romantic dinners.. and he doesn't see any reason to spend any money or "stupid stuff" like Valentine's Day stuff... He is extremely hard to shop for.. (Usually I just get him a DVD because he collects them).. This year I want to do something different.. and his birthday is next month, so if anyone has any ideas for me on that, it would be great too!!!! Thanks!!!!

Well, actually, he doesn't like me to waste money on this stuff, however, every year he gets me a bunch of stuff even when I really dont want it... I would like to mutually agree to not do anything... Which he always says is fine, however.. he always is sneaky and gets me stuff regardless.... Last year he got me a dozen tulips, chocolate a teddy bear, a card, and he made a romantic dinner.... But if I do that for him, he doesn't like it... He apprieciates it, but he don't really want it.. Why are some men like that????

buy some massage oils and have a romantic intimate evening alone! Do things to him you have never done before...who knows...maybe he will get in the mood and do the same! you can even buy yourself a battery operated friend to use together!! make things happen...bring back that spark!

another idea is you can look for an inexpensive handheld GPS receiver (ebay) and look up geocaching.com and go look for some caches. This would be giving him a 'manly' gift while bringing an activity into your lives that is fun for the entire family!! make it a combined birthday/valentines gift!

Personally, my hubby and myself never really buy anything for eachother...with the tight finances, it is not worth it! We buy things for eachother that are needed...underwear, socks, pants...and don't waste money on wrapping either! use old paper grocery bags as your wrapping paper. It reduces the waste since you are reusing things you already have. Now, our kids always get something...to us, it is more important that they get presents...not us.

Hope you figure something out!

Does he get YOU a Valentine's Day gift? If not, just give him a card. If he really doesn't appreciate any of the "nice" things you mentioned then these are my suggestions: His favorite alcoholic beverage and snack, cellophane wrapped and ribboned in a manly container like a bucket; two movie tickets and a box of his favorite "show" candy; gift certificate for the video store, Sears, Lowes, etc. Remember, presentation is everything. Last is my husband's all time favorite: Present him with sexy new lingerie, in your size of course because you're the one who should be wearing it!

My husband is very hard to shop for to. About four years ago I ordered him a baseball type hat with his favorite car { a Camaro} on it for Christmas. He liked it so much he wore it till it was ragged. This year his gift grew to six hats so they will last till next Christmas. Think of something he uses a lot that might be hard to find and save your question if he don't like your gift your question will be prove of how much thought you put into it.

Give him a card with the following.

"The bearer of this card may order the giver of this card to perform whatever sexual act he desires."

Then ask for your orders. He'll love it.
