Technically, Goldfish only see in infrared light. It's the same stuff that they use to make night vision cameras. so, if it has IR light in the dark, then what do you think?

hi, goldfish have probably the best vision of any creature on the planet, they can see almost all of the light spectrum, infra red, ultra violet etc, they also have excellent zoom capability`s and can see great distances better than humans!. this is why they recognise thier owners at feeding time. no they usually just lie on the bottom of their tank,they also bump into things that,s in their tank if u don,t have a light in the tank use the light in ur room they r in r gold fish lived for 12 years

Can u see in the dark? If u cant see, u r not a nocturnal creature
It is not a nocturnal fish,it sleeps in dark.

they cant actually see but they can sense other fish moving with their lateral line

I have no idea but even if they could they wouldn't remember(they only have a 3 second memory)
