Political correctness is a creation of the right to make liberals appear silly and intolerant.

No one on the Left even heard of PC until the Right started to complain about it.

As a serious Liberal, as are my friends, I know of no one that practices anything that could be called political correctness.

"Political correctness" is as real and as big a threat as the "War on Christmas." More right-wing fantasy on the order of WMDs and the Iraq-9/11 link.

Your mistake may be taking anything conservatards have to say seriously.

Being politicaly correct is makeing an effort to speak in such a way so as not to offend anyone. If what you are saying does'nt offend anyone, than it's not likely to be of any consequence whatsoever. Therefor, f*ck political correctness!

Political correctness is newspeak, speak English please, Its a Pen, NOT a 'Hand held portable communication inscriber'

When I hear people who are traumatised by someone breaking wind in their presence, I want to drag them to a rape crisis clinic and show them what REAL trauma is. I hate this newspeak, lets just be straight with each other. Our Lifes depend on the Language we use and HOW we use it

Political correctness means that people aren't willing to speak freely and openly.

That's a problem because you can't solve problems if you're not willing to talk about them.

People wouldn't use the label "politically correct" - they would say they are being sensitive to people's feelings.

Non sequiter. The fact that liberals don't overtly support PC doesn't mean that they don't do everything in their power to enforce it.

It's more of an ideology . There aren't many Conservatives who have EVER agreed with it, BUT, there's a cavalcade of Liberals who do or did .
