I guess it is a natural progression with any venue that gains popularity and exposure. Yahoo Answers, just over a year ago, was an experimental thing. Now that celebrities are participating in it, and its getting major national news coverage, the powers that be over at Yahoo see a justification in investing in its efficiency. So now there are more ways to track questions, and they are putting forth a more concerted effort to ferret out people who are pranksters and delete their accounts.

I liken Yahoo Answers to any public meeting place, say like a neighborhood square. When the neighborhood starts out, it maybe riddled with filth and graffiti and also sorts of ruffians. As the neighborhood starts to show itself to be productive, there is more interest in it and efforts to weed out the unseemly elements of it are increased.

The greatest way to ensure a better Yahoo Answers is to keep asking good questions, and providing well though out answers. In that sense, Erudite, you are doing a superb job.
