I had sex with my girlfriend and she was having her period, but I used a condom. I've read that a girl can become pregnant if any sperm were to get inside of her when she is having her period, but any sperm or fluid went straight into the condom, with none of it touching her vagina. Is it still possible that she can get pregnant? Thanks for any help.

Assuming that the condom didn't have a microscopic defect that might allow for sperm to escape, then I would say its pretty safe that pregnancy won't occur.
Just remember that NO method of BC is 100% effective. 14% of condom users every year end up with unwanted pregnancies.

Condoms are NEVER 100% effective. It is possible to have a microscopic tear in the condom. Storing the condom in inappropriate places will cause them to break down. For example, don't keep them in your wallet. If you keep your wallet in your back pocket, the condom is exposed to your body heat for long periods of time, which cause them to break down.

its only as possible as using a condom any other time. the failure rate doesnt change just because she's on her period

there's always a posibility, but that fact that you had sex during her period makes it very difficult... and the fact that you used a condom maks it almost impossible... but... there's always a little chance of getting pregnant, even in those days....
i your case i wouldn;t worry so much.
