my sister said everytime she drinks something its like a shock that goes up to the left side of her head? and i asked her how much it hurts from 1-10, she said a 7? could anyone know what this could be that is doing that? (she quit takin birth control shots, and got blood taken recently,idk if that has to do with it?)

I take as that she drinks is some booze... in that case it could be blood pressure, it's definitely being affected by alcohol. If not booze, it's like someone said some hypersensibility with her teeth.

I agree with what the person at the top said. If it goes on for a long time i'd suggest seeing a doctor or even a dentist.

Sounds like she needs a root canal, a nerve appears to be exposed in one of her cavaties. Or if she has a filling and there is no cavity to be seen, then she may have a crack in her filling. Her best bet is to see a dentist rule out minor possibilities.

If she is rating the pain at 7 she needs to see a doc.

It could be pain from sensitive teeth.
