Yes, without a doubt goldfish do yawn. But... not in the way we do or for the same reasons, it just looks like the same thing. No one is really sure why they do this but the current best guess is they are cleaning out their gill rakers by forcing a lot of water over them all at once.

No they don't. We yawn either because we are tired or to facilitate oxygen exchange in our lungs. Since goldfish are not air breathers they would not have any reason to yawn.
