I want to make my ex realise what he's lost not because i necessarily want him back but because I want to feel better about myself too.

You can feel better about yourself without interacting with him. Move on. What a difference you'll see when you meet someone who does appreciate you.

We have two issues going on here. The first one is self esteem and the other one is letting that person just be. I can HONESTLY say, that I've tried to get two relationships back and they didn't work. I realized I can do better on my own if I had to analyze things etc. If someone doesn't want to be with you, then that's ok. It doesn't reflect terribly on you. I've actually dated men who were players and I didn't realize it, the relationships would end and then a few months later they would call back letting me know that they felt bad for what they did and that the "grass wasn't greener on the other side"...but by then I was over it. A person doesn't need another person to make them feel good about themselves. I've learned that life experiences help you with that. You learn that you are worth more than what someone gives you or the way they treat you. I'm not saying to make yourself "untouchable", just help you realize a relationship doesn't make a person =) Good luck!!!

As long as you know its his lost and not yours..thats what matters..who cares if he realizes or not..You need to bring youself up..Go out with friends, talk to people you love and that love you...You should feel better about yourself because you gained something..yourself...remember hes the one that lost not you!!!...Your single Hun and single life is great, yeah it gets lonely sometimes but that when your friends and fam come into picture..So please forget about him and try to think about other things..Break ups do suck..but if it didnt work out, then your better off!!Keep your head up!!

He is the only one that can really relize that.....And he may not relize it now but he might one day....ONE THING DO NOT GO BACK WITH HIM RIGHT AWAY IF HE COMES CRAWLING BACK TO YOU. No matter how much you want to..... Trust me I went through the same thing......And the longer you make him wait the more time he has to think of what an *** he is.....

Move on, you will be better off focusing your feelings on you. He is in the past, you can't change anything. Live in present, and for future. I know it's hard, but it's all for you.

If you are thinking like this, then you are not really over him.

Move on with your life. The best revenge is to live well.

Everybody deserves to be happy, including your ex.
You go do your thing, let him do his and just get over it.

IF he lost anything, he'll learn this on his own.

You need to see a councelor honey. This way you'll learn that your ok and have to have a better self esteem.
