My ex bf is chasing me and really annoying .. my bf sees that he is disturbing me greatly though am assuring that he is making a fuss about that ... now my bf is so worried lest I should be in danger. and wanna do anything.. question is: Can my ex really be lunatic and dangerous?

Well you should know your ex, does he seem like a dangerous or lunatic person to you? When you were together, did you think that he would be capable of doing something to hurt someone? Was he always insanely jealous when you were with him?
If your new boyfriend is worrying, it could be that there is a reason to worry, to maybe he is just jealous that your ex is not over you yet.
Ask your friends whether your ex not being over you would cause him to do something dangerous.
Maybe you should talk to your ex on the phone and let him know that it is over between you guys and he needs to move on. Make sure you never flirt with him or give him the slightest hope that things could still work out between you too. Tell him you have moved on to someone else and he needs to do so as well.
If he refuses and you are really scared, then maybe consider getting a restraining order.

He is having a hard time getting over you. Ina month or so he will be over you.
