nope it is not a typo that what it is suppose to be but i cant figure it out I have tried. I need HELP! =)

You need to use precedence. It should look like this.

6+(4×5) -1 +(3÷4)

{6[(+4 x 5) - (1 + 3)]} / 4

{6 [(20) - (4) ] }/ 4

{6 [ 16 ]} /4

96/4

I used the +4 to indicate the sign of the result, rather then addition

I started by looking at the / 4 at the end, which meant the rest of the equation had to be = 96, I lucked out in that I started with 96 as there were other combinations to look at as well

6 + 4 x 5 - 1 + 3 ÷ 4 =

6 + 20 - 1 + 3 ÷ 4=

6 + 20 - 1 + 0.75 =

26 - 1 + 0.75 =

25 + 0.75

25.75

The answer is 25.75

You have to put it like this
6+(4*5)-1+(3\4)
then it will become
26-7/4
its value 24.25

In a quick look, I'm stumped. The nearest I'm getting is 25. Are you sure there isn't a typo?
