iv been on this for fouur days now my eyes r touching the floor, im starving, me potty needs empyting, me rabbit needs feeding, me bills need payig n i need to go to work. this internet thing has taken ova my life lol

Some people have addictive personalities. We have to be very careful what we do and try, because it's so easy to get hooked.
Find some activities you like to do that are healthy for you, and do them instead.

I know it is addictive but apart from that you can learn a lot of useful things .I know i have and also you can help other`s

I sympathise am also new and am in a similar position. I suspect it will wear off as time goes on. I think many of us are always keen to pass on our words of wisdom and find this a useful outlet in these insular days.

i know the feeling. i discovered yahoo answers last year when i had my foot in plaster when i broke it. i've been hooked ever since. i've even got all my friends hooked! it's addictive i guess coz you get to see peoples opinions from all over the world and get a big variety of answers to your questions.

Because it keeps you busy and you enjoy reading what is wrong with others. For me it is a desire to help others that comes from being a nurse for over 33 years.

Well im new too and find myself on daily......but think about it if this is the worst of your addictions (helping others), it isn't too bad it could be heroin, cocaine, meth , spray.......KEEP ON HELPING ITS PRETTY MUCH HEALTHY IT FEELS GOOD TO HELP OTHERS>

I can't get off, I'm supposed to be working. How am i meant to explain to my tutor why i haven't completed an hour and a half or work.
