I would like to think that would happen, but I am afraid it is too far gone. The right wing owns the churches, they are corrupt money grubbing hypocrites. It owns about 99 % of the media--they keep people thinking about irrelevant stuff like stars and starlets and American Idol instead of losing health care. The media, the news media, propagandizes for the big shots who are and have been looting the economy, and who want to do so. The country is supposed to be "free" but has the largest prison population in the world and still the people clamor for more prisons, more people to be locked up, longer sentences. All productive sectors of the economy are suffocating under the cost of maintaining a prison based economy and military adventures. So America is going down. Its a shame. It had some really good points, some really great ideals. Maybe the next time people want to start a free country they will learn from the mistakes that destroyed this one and not allow political churches or right wing talk radio.

funny stuff. left leaning questions get all right wingers answering and vise versa. The actual answer to your question is not right or left. The answer is when people wake up and realize that all of politics is messed up the whole government is broken. People on the far right from what I gather, not stereotyping if I do I'm sorry, don't like oversight and don't like taxing the rich. While people on the left like oversight, big government and more taxes. The unfortunate truth is that everyone in the government caters to special interest groups not the american people as a whole. The far right opposes peoples right to choose and don't say you don't cause if you didn't then same sex marriage and abortion and smoking a joint would be ok. The far left supports those things. The answer is finding middle ground compromise, the American govt. won't compromise thats the problem.

It extremely relies upon on the excuses of the fellow operating for place of work in the experience that they were "anti-American" because certain, you're able to have human beings hostile to a rustic who pick to be in skill of it, only as a fashion to have a significant part of administration over what is going on and both 'restore it' or enable allies from whoever they're for, to go back in and take administration. 2d - faith is significant because in this usa plenty is in retaining with faith - no matter if or not that is Islam, Christianity, Hindu, or in spite of faith you've or do no longer have. That non secular conception WILL play an element in how the country is administered, once you've a Muslim in place of work who's making possibilities depending upon his faith which will be risky - similar is going for different religions. you only pick to understand what you're turning out to be yourselves into. in my opinion with a Muslim it would want to get risky by way of overseas places connections and a possibility terrorist events that could want to happen. With Christianity that is extremely combating particular possibilities to be made somewhat than 'terrorist' events. i do not imagine that any a possibility rule This usa without non secular implications, because it always impacts issues that flow on.

Right wing as Left wing they tend to balance our political scene. Either extreme is what brings turmoil we have today. Balance is the answer, we can live comfortably with both but not with "one" as the only way for America. Today we are simply adjusting the scale.

Are you trying to imply that the far left is full of sunshine and prosperity? Get real. There are bigger problems with our government and this country than left and right. If you truly want to be free, then you are looking in the wrong direction.

I agree we are living under a dark cloud. It is called socialism. And the liberals want to turn the US into a third world country. And why would you want to help with this?

When Americans realize that we all created the cloud. It didn't just appear there one day. we, the people, put that "dark cloud, there and we, the people can remove it. We do have to first stop blaming the "others" for all our woes.

It will be less free if the dems win and implement socialized medicine. Take a look at the waiting lists for medical treatments in Canada and the UK. Is that freedom or being held hostage?

We are free now. Name one thing under this Administration that makes you lose any freedom? Good work with the propaganda. Just because you may not agree with conseratism, it does not take away your civil liberties. You were free to write this. Lay off the kool-aid and tell your liberal cronies to go back to what they were. Open-minded.

we are free. we are a free country. we can worship how we want, woman can walk do the street without get hurt (most of the time), we can dress how we want, we can protest and not get shot, we can print what we want, we can love who we want (in a few states), and our rights are nearly limitless. please don't blame the right and please don't blame the left. this country has a few problems but in most part we are blessed. we need to start looking our for each other. no matter what you believe as long as you're an american you need to start looking out for the rights of your fellow americans.

as long as someone can teach what they please in classrooms, as long as students can pray before tests, as long as the flag doesn't get burned in the street. as long as the voiceless get a voice. we will stay free
