if you love pet rats please tell me i have ask numeres people if they like rats as a house hold pet and most people think iam crazy and say they wouldnt have a pet rat to save thier life so if you like rats please tell me if you dont its ok your probly a dog fish or cat peoson but tell me your fave animal!

I have 14 rats, and each one has his or her own personality. I bought one little girl and it turned out that she was pregnant, but we neutered the boys and kept them all. They are great little friends to snuggle with.

Pet Rats do rock and make the best pets. They are clean, intelligent and love their people. You are less likely to ever get bit by a pet rat than any other rodent.
They come in many varieties like Siamese, Curly coated, hairles and some even have cute little Dumbo ears that stick out like little monkeys. They love to run in large 11 inch wheels and play with toys.
Pet rats are very people oriented and love to ride around on your shoulder. Wonderful devoted family pets.
People should always get them in pairs and of course make sure they are both the same sex.

I started keeping rats as pets at the age of 38 in 1997 and I've kept 50+ rats at any given time ever since. I am now specializing in their care, ie pet rat expert, and educating others on the wonders of having rats as pets. I'm known as the Rat Lady and I wear the badge with pride.
I also have dogs, cats, a male Siamese Fighting Fish, and 2 Tiger Salamanders that round out my critter menagerie. I've been a dog obedience instructor for the last 30+ years and I've shown cats for 6 years................
But, my life, my love, is for the rats.

Rats are nice. If I was going to have a rodant my first choice would be a guinea pig but rats would be second I think, though I did have chincillas for a little while.
Ferrets are fabulous pets. Really fun, but a lot of work to look after. We travel a lot now and it's hard to get people to look after them while we are away. So now we just have cats. They're great too.

I love Rats thery make great pets. But sad to say mine just died 3 weeks ago she was about 3 years old. But i am planning to get a new one i have had rats most my life and everyone has always told me that i was gross or that rats are nasty but there really are not.

I like pet rats, and my children have one that is all white with dark eyes, very pretty. I also like a lot of other pets, but my favorite is Chihuahuas. I have 2 and they are such cute little love bugs, and really smart too.

i have a male rat and he's like another child to me but my husband doesn't like rats he's more of a dog person.

i like pet rats, and they are cute, and i hear they are intelligent, but i'm more of a ferret person, they are one of my fav animals, in so many ways!!
