Does anyone have any theories what will happen to Sam as they are not making anymore after this series?
I don't have a clue - I do think that Annie may turn out to be his boss if he does return to the present day.

Obviously I haven't seen the new series, pardon my ignorance mentioning it in the present tense. I've just watched the first series on DVD - Sorry!

I think Sam returns to the present having been in a coma so none of what we've seen is real. No doubt all that has been happening in his head while in the coma will help him solve the crime of the present. I seem to remember he was searching for his girlfriend supposedly snatched at the beginning? I love this programme, there was talk of a spin off so lets hope so.

Think he'll get stuck in the past but he'll end up OK with it.
Or they could just go totally weird and do an ending like The Prisoner where it turns out he's actually just trapped in his own mind and has simply been in a coma.
