Do you keep secrets from your friends?

What sort of things do you keep secret? How well do you have to know someone before you tell them or under what circumstances would you tell them? Do you have a lot of secrets or just a few or none at all?

I'm pretty open with people, but I don't share everything with everyone. What I tell someone is based on the level of trust we have in our relationship. If that trust is ever breached, I will withhold more in the future.

I tell the most to my husband, and I never say anything negative about my husband to anyone else--not even my family (or maybe especially my family). My husband knows most of my fears, concerns, and self-doubts. I tell him because he is a big encourager and supports me in facing my fears.

When I was younger and single, I had a few close friends that knew a lot about me, but I was a bit more guarded--partly because people who are less mature tend to be less trustworthy. Someone who is your friend today, might not be next week. I have only maintained a couple of those friendships. Now they know much more about me than they did when we were in high school because we have developed a greater level of trust.

Yes, I do keep secrets. I don't have many friends, though. When I was younger I used to bring my girl friends into my home, and someone stole my father's watch and some money mother kept to pay some bills. After that day I never brought anybody anymore.
Under no circumstances should you tell anybody your secrets. You will never know anybody well enough.

I don't feel the need to tell my friends every detail of my life. I only omit truths if I feel like keeping a secret will cause harm to someone other than myself. Remember being an open book make you more vulnerable and can come back to bite you in the *** in the future.

I have a lot of secrets and if i told just one friend that means another one will find out and if everyone finds out it could get most of my friends locked up , break up and hurt some of them LOL so keeping secrets are fun hehe!!!

You are being very vague, even so I'll try to answer.....if you have a lover, are married or in a serious relationship, yes, it's emotional cheating and often it leads to more serious cheating. It's not OK and there is no way to justify such behavior. Secrets cause emotional withholding of self......down hill from there.

You should tell people only what you feel comfortable saying, no-one can force anything out of you that you don't want to say, and anyone who pressures you into telling them something isn't worth telling, you should feel like you can trust your secret with the person you wish to tell.

Well ... if I told you what I keep secret, it wouldn't be secret. Everybody has some personal stuff they keep just to themselves or maybe they might talk out with a therapist. I don't have many secrets, just a few.

please dun share everythings with your friends(even when u think that he/she is your good buddy) as if bad things happen between u both , then all your secret will spread, better watch out before you tell somebody your inner secrets...i have many secrets which i will keep it for myself( my dairy)...try to write a diary , is the best way to keep secret too(but make sure u put it in a safe place)
