Yes it's possible. You can ovulate on the 3rd day, the 12th day, the 25th day. Heck, you can even ovulate DURING your period.
Nature is fickle...and She LOVES a practical joke now and then. Be practical and always use birth control if you don't want to risk a pregnancy.

Sounds about right to me. One week of period then one more week to ovulation then 2 weeks to next period.
