without zero, every number u wrote would be like
XXMLC some roman numerals...

with zero u can write one million in only 7 numbers:
1 000 000

otherwise it was gonna take a whoolllee lot longer just to write the number down, let alone perform calculations.

P.S. 0 was discovered by muslims, for all those ppl who think muslims dont contribute to science n maths... ;)

In a short answer! a zero is the most important figer there is!
Going to #.9 that is as far as you can go if there no zero that's as
far as it goes. So you see what I mean don't you?.

zero has its numerical importance when it is place on the correct side.it can also be found that romans developed it.
