It took some time but my husband has finally forgiven me for not trusting him. But I still feel bad about the whole situation. Is there something that I can do to ease my mind?

Accept that he has forgiven you. Be loving and sincere with him.

It sounds like you have not forgiven yourself. It's definitely time to move past it and really make your lives together special. Start doing special things together. Make this bad event a distant memory. I do not know much about this distrust issue, but it is something that needs to be forgotten. And what better way, than to make some very special memories today.

i don't want to give you false ideas. there is absolutely nothing you can do to ease your mind in this case. but may be time will heal you. the only thing that can ease your mind right now would be, if you found out that your husband too did doubt your commitment towards him. the feeling of being 50-50 is the only solution, in my opinion. many won't believe me, but i think this is the simple human psychology.

Meditation, prayer.

Let the happiness in your heart of being forgiven glow.
Also your mind will too.

Accept the forgiveness he's given to you as a gift. There is nothing more you NEED to do.

Go about your daily lives and don't let him forget how much you love him and are grateful to him. Remember, trust is not FREELY given, it's EARNED. He's obviously earned yours.

I am confused you didn't trust him.. why?
are you the jealous type? That is a problem and you will need consoling to get rid of that.
