As long as the current two parties maintain their power in the political arena, there will never be a third party elected to a major office.

Defamation and slander are both correct, but slander is a better answer since it is more specific. Libel is incorrect because it is defamation by written or published statements. Breach of Duty is clearly wrong.

A false statement is a lie. If it is about someone an causes them to lose a job or money, it is libel. If it ruins theri reputation, it is slander. If you have a duty to tell the truth, it can be a breach of that duty, or perjury. To defame someone is also ruining their reutation, or causing them to lose fame.

A false statement OF FACT made orally ABOUT YOU to a third person THAT IS HARMFUL TO YOUR REPUTATION is slander. Slander is an oral statment published (spoken) to a third person, of and concerning another, that is a false statement of fact and tends to harm their reputation. No malice is required unless your are considerd a public official, limited purposes public figure or public figure. If you are, then malice (meaning knowledge of falsity or reckless disregard for truth) must be demonstrated.

Depends if it is done with Malice or not. The false statement has to have caused some loss in some way to the offended party

is hear say...what kind of statement..If I tell people that your a good person and I dont know for a fact that your a good person..thats a false statement..now its not a negitive statement but none the less its still false..so what did they say..its not a crime..unless your going to court on the matter..criminal court...good luck..
