no way...or bono, he is a great entertainer. and if you have ever been to a show you would know the answer to your question friend.

Being a U2 fan since 1984, I am going to have to say no. The quality of music and the song writing abilities and the staying power of this band blows the rest out of the water. Bono HIMSELF might be a little overrated, but the band..the MUSIC is not. War, Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, Boy, The Unforgettable Fire....there is no comparison. This is music you can feel. Its spiritual, emotional, political. If you can't feel it, your not listening!!

Yes, completely overrated.
They have a good couple of songs but thats about it. People make them out to be the best band in the world because they have a low scale Pink Floyd stage show.
There are better bands with better albums and musicians. The drummer isn't that good, its only the bass and electric guitar players who are quite good.
Bono thinks he is the male Mother Teresa and hams up the politics part instead of concentrating on music.
Since the release of Achtung Baby, what have they actually done of any worth?
