Not sure, he seems like he gives back to the community, based on the things I've heard (I live in NJ) over the past two years.

Everyone who has reached adulthood should be a role model and is, whether good or bad. Vince has been in no trouble on or off the court that I've heard of; so I say yes.

VC is no more or less of a role model than any other elite pro athlete. The prevailing attitude among this group is an overwhelming sense of entitlement. Cuba Gooding Jr's character in Jerry McGuire said it perfectly, "Show me the money!"

For what? How does playing in the NBA make him a role model? Only so many players will make it to the NBA anyway. We don't know enough about his personal life to make him a role model.

I don't think so. When he was in Toronto he played half-*** to force the team to trade him. He has admitted as much.
