Marshall Dillon was the big gun in town. Every dancehall girl
from Desolate to Muledung wanted to pop her bustier for him.
Miss Sunshine really wants Matt and had the hankerin' bad but
she got that name from smiling with no teeth at all the townspeople and he preferred the company of Miss Kitty.
One night when Matt and Miss Kitty were Ahhhing over a quick
kiss in the moonlight, Toothless Tess stealthily crept up from
behind and whacked Miss Kitty over the head with a bottle of
champaign. This was more than just a lover's quarrel and
the next morning Miss S. found herself in the pokey, happy
to have Matt's attention at last. However, a few days later
all hell breaks loose when they discover she's gummed her
way out.

All of a sudden all hell breaks loose. Miss Sunshine comes on the scene. It's no secret that Miss Sunshine wants Matt. This causes a BIG lover's quarrel between Miss Kitty and Marshal Dillon. Finally Miss Sunshine realizes that Matt only has eyes for Miss Kitty.

When Marshall Dillon returned from war and called on Miss Kitty, he was heartbroken to find her quite indifferent to him. When he accused her of having an affair with his best friend Matt, she denied it hotly, saying al they had shared was a quick kiss. She said it was the moonlight that had made them lose their senses. When he confronted Matt, Matt said it had been the, "ahhh...champagne" that had made them lose their heads. Dillon and Kitty had more than just a lover's quarrel and Kitty went off in a huff to her friend Miss Sunshine. But she got no sympathy there. Miss Sunshine wants Matt, that is what she discovered instead. When Matt laughed and said that he wouldn't mind a menagie a trois, all hell broke loose. It was certainly a modern-day Shakespearean comedy!!
