Generally speaking, the Western hemisphere, or the "The Western World" includes the Americas (North and South). This includes Canada, the U.S., Mexico, South America, the West Indies and Greenland (as well as Cuba and the Virgin Islands).
However, other countries geographically lie partially within the Western hemisphere like parts of Africa, Europe, Antarctica, and Asia.

ireland, iceland, New zealand, a lot of the island groups in Pacifica. and new zealand (not sure of that one)
p.s. an add to the above answer, Greenland is on the western hemiphere, it is howeever not technically a country, it is a province of denmark.
