I love most of the things about South Africa! I love the fact that I don't have to make my own bed in the morning because there are maids to do it for me, I love the scenery, the climate which never gets too hot or too cold, the crime seeing as it gives you you the opportunity to get some action, I love the people as they are usually very friendly, I love the nature and the fact that you could go to certain places and see wildlife, such as monkeys, deer, bats and snakes roaming freely where you are! I love the beaches, the traditional South African foods such as boerewors, mielie pap and biltong! There is nothing I love the most about SA! I love everything about it and I plan to live here for many many years!

The space, big houses, swimming pools in the back yards....biltong and braais, beautiful beaches and long open roads.

And to our W A N K E R friend above...the question was about SA, not the people. Shows your intelligence, doesn't it?

refering to the COUNTRY itself, NOT the politics, what is there NOT to like about south africa? i have lived and travelled in every part, its in my veins no matter where i am. it is truly the most beautiful country i have ever known.

the unbelievably stunning desert areas of the northern cape, the 'little greece" land and seascapes and vineyards of the western cape, the beauty of the coastal forests along the eastern cape, the stunning seaside of the south coast, the beautiful drakensberg mountains, the open skies of the central areas, the grasslands of the transvaal area. there is something for every taste, every mood. the incredible wildlife reserves, each one as unique as the area its in. the every changing skies, fascinating cities loaded with history, architecture, arts and cultures like a rainbow. every imaginable watersport, land sport and skysport you can think of. whether you like mountains, hills, flat lands, sea, lakes, rivers or deserts, south africa has it all.

if the politics and violence issues could sort themselves out, before this country is completely wrecked, this would be paradise on earth.

Many things. But on top are a) the people. Generally the people are hospitable; b) the country's geography. It is true that south africa is a world in one country. c) people's determination. like all young democracies, we are going through trying times, but true south africans have hope and know that this is the land of good possibilities. While we should not cease to cry about issues like crime, we are focussed on making south africa a working country. d) braai and klippies.
