Polar bears can swim up to 50 miles at 6mph. They use ice blocks for hunting. Are we really going to hurt the US economy based on faux pictures of polar bears in distress?

FOR REAL...those bears were playing.....but the caption reads..."global warming strands polar bears"...textbook propaganda if you ask me.....They are POLAR bears....they dont get cold :)

Regardless if the photo was fake or in some way used as propaganda to me is irrelevant in the same way that the whole question as to whether or not "global warming" is (1) real (2) man made. Reason being is... we can't afford to be wrong on this one. Anyway, we need something to motivate us to "clean up our act". Which means becoming independent of the oil nations. Which means finding other ways of producing our energy needs. Which means cleaner sources such solar, wind, bio-fuels, and even nuclear. As for as those driving around in the big SUVs I know for a fact that both liberals and conservatives are guilty of this. Also, when it comes to saving money for retirement the main reason that people are no longer making this a priority is because we've become a nation who wants it all and want it now, i.e., "instant gratification". The "greatest generation" were much more disciplined in this regard.

I thought the economy was strong! Isn't that why more people are unable to save now that at any time since the depression?
We can save the economy AND polar bears, and no, it isn't propaganda if it's true. It's one of the most amazing species on the planet, and it is frighteningly endangered because of the sudden breakup of polar ice.

True..it was propaganda..just like ALL media pics...I mean the President in a tank or aircraft is same thing..you don't think Bush Jr really went flying on missions in Iraq do you?
BOTH sides have used pic propaganda for decades so why is an issue now?

No, I will never admit this! Never! Polar Bears are floating out to sea, and are dying because Republicans have to drive in excessively large, gas guzzling, SUVs. It sucks and they need to change their behaviors.
