got my period on jan 4th. my next one was suppose to come on the Feb 1st. took prego test on fri it came out neg. but i still have not got my period, only spotting on sat. This is very unusual. my period is like clock work. is it possible i am prego? if so then why did the test come out negative

I would wait until this friday and take another test, I recomend clearblue easy digital, you can take it up to 5 days b4 you miss your period, and the results are so easy to read. Theres no telling why thbe first test was negative, could be your not preggers, could be there wasnt enough hormone in your urine to shown on that particular test brand. Actually you could take the Clearblue easy digital today and know for sure. Best of luck to you.

Are you under any stress at the moment? That can alter a period's cycle. Also, if you're spotting, chances are the answer is no, especially if the last test came out negative. Just give it another few days and take another test if it's still not here. Try not to worry or else it'll delay it even more.

Home pregnancy tests measure HPT, a hormone produced when pregnant. Sometimes, the levels of HPT in the body are too low to show up on the test, but you're still pregnant. If I were you, I would either test again today, and if it's negative test again in two or three days, or just wait a couple of days and test again. Waiting is probably the most logical choice, but I personally couldn't do it :P. good luck!

best thing is to get a blood test done because my mum had to take 3 tests and they was negative, when the doctor said she wasn't but she knew she was (how weird is that) and she took a test the day after and was positive

It's possible you are pregnant. Sometimes there isn't enough pregnancy hormone to show a positive. After a few days, the amount of pregnancy hormone increases, and should show up on a ept. Take another one.

well you could possibly be go to your local doctor and take their preg test usually a urine sample or blood (which ever they chose) will give you a better result than the store ones. they can actually tell by your hormones in ur samples within 24 hours..

maybe the test didn't pic up the hormone's u should do two pregnancy test to confirm if u dont feel comfortable with the results contact your family physician.

you might be to early along the test might not be working right there is a whole list of reasons
just go see your doctor
