Unfortunately sewing machines in general do not fetch much money. This is because so many were made, and the old ones that survived are of little use. However the very early ones are collectable but these are not usually the treadle machines that came later. So, sorry to say but you are probably looking at £20 to £50. They will go up in value and I would hang on to it for 50 years!

Try ebay, but as someone else said, they aren't usually worth much unless you have a rare model or one that's desirable to collectors for some reason. There were a lot of sewing machines made, and they don't wear out easily.

I don't think antique sewing machines are very valuable as there are so many of them around. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You see them in charity shops going for about £15. However you seem to have an unusual one so I would write down the details and email different antique shops via the internet. You could pick up yellow pages and phone around antique shps too. Or you could take it to your local auction house and see what you get.I would do things in that order if it was my machine. Good luck.

Not a perfect answer, but you could get an idea by search for current listings on Ebay, and they also have a past listing record and what they sold for- could give you an idea- and its free....

See how much they are selling for on EBay, that's a good gauge of monetary value.
