I am currently 15.5 yrs old and I live in Singapore. I have always wanted soccer to be a career. I am a right-back. I will go out in the after sch around 5pm and start to train my skills.I also do running 2X weekly....
But,I realise that my sprinting speed is not as fast as compared to others. Stamina-wise, I am ok. However, I am very dedicated to football. While other guys will play a fool with the ball, I would only look at them and continue my training, all the while hoping that i can turn pro one day.

But I have no match experience.I did join a local team, but i never featured in their matches as i was considered to be too young(15yrs)..the only experience i had was of their training matches..Other than the training games n playing monthly for my school team against other teams, I had no match experience .But i hope this will not affect me...no matter what i will continue to train..
So, to all of you out there, do you think i stand a chance to be a professional? And why?

Keep working hard and you can accomplish anything you want. Never let anyone tell you that you can't achieve your dreams. You shouldn't have even asked the question. Believe in yourself and others opinions will never matter and that's why I'm not giving mine. Good luck!!!

You may turn out to be a footballer, but you aren't going to play for a major team in a major league.

But, in the end, probably not. If you don't even play competitive football at your age, it is unlikely you well get anywhere. You're still young, and anything can happen, but I would say that you well have little chance to make something of yourself playing football with the lack of fundamental training and match experience you have.

yeah, because their are all sorts of professional teams, teams in the FA Cup League, the Bundas Liga, the Priemiership, even the MLS. You may not be on a very good professional team, but that doesn't matter, it's all for the love of the beautiful game.
Good luck!
Cheers!
