it's weird, i was accually litsening to this song on my ipod when i saw this question... it's about a girl. "oceans in between us" "wonder what you're doing imagine where you are" yeah, it's about alot of things. a guy who feels like he has nothing left, he an his girlfriend broke up, and he wants her back over everytrhing else..

What do you want it to be about?
Alot of Bands..like Linkin Park, Metallica...will keep the Lyrics really vague, so everyone can identify with them. and it will speak to a broader audience, thus sell more records..Is "Nothing Else Matters" a love song? For people that are in love it is... It is poetry...
"Oceans in between us"...does that mean that she/he moved away to another country? Long distant relationship..or does it mean that they will never get back together because they are sooo different..?
