I need some good online multi player games

World of Warcarft is a rip off. Why spend money for a game that you have to turn around and spend more money just to play it? Runescape is a good one although there seems to be some serious lag issues with that site. I'll never understand why people are willing to pay money every month just to play a game. It would be different if there was a one time membership fee, but that should be included with the purchace of the game anyway.

I like Runescape, but I like MapleStory more. Its free, but you have to pay for some spetial features...
