Who posed a greater threat to America? Would you be willing to put Saddam (or someone like him, considering he's dead) back in power in Iraq in exchange for Osama bin Laden? How many Americans was Hussein responsible for killing on American soil? How many was bin Laden responsible for? Iraq was under constant surveillance. They were not an imminent threat to US security. But, while we are busy trying to turn Iraq into the 51st state, OBL is plotting his next attack. Does that bother anyone else?

I would definitely trade Sadamm for Bin Ladin. Sadaam did some horrilbe things to Iraqis. Bin Ladin killed 3000 Americans. Yes, it bothers everyone. That is why there is so much backlash about the war.

I really wish that bin Laden had been caught. Not only would the main person responsible for the deaths of 3,000 have been brought to justice, but possible future attacks would have been prevented. If anything, the global terrorism problem has been exacerbated by the war, because it's now become a cause celebre among the Muslim fundamentalists and a whole new generation of terrorists is now being bred.

A greater threat to America?

Bin Laden, obviously. Saddam never attacked this country. Bin Laden attacked it many times.

Yes, at least saddam kept his country in check for 20 plus yrs. Wasn't bin Laden the one really responsible for 9/11?

I always liked Saddam, I think of him as an Uncle.

My favorite is when he was wearing a Al Capone style hat and had the Shotgun in his hand with a huge crowd around him cheering him on.

I've got no love the string bean with mash potatoes stuck on his head.

How many Americans were killed in Iraqi soil and by whom?

The person killed our troops is neither Laden nor Saddam. It is your W. This guy has so much American blood in his hands.

So, the answer is: GWB.

So, I guess you are one that believes that outside terrorists were responsible for 9-11? They weren't. It bothers me that you think bin Laden matters. He is sitting on his butt(if he is still alive, which I think he may be) laughing at the American people because the masses believe what the government tells them. I am not so gullible.
The enemy is within.
