Only if they want to. There is no reason at all for them to be forced to change their menu or their ingredients just because some people think they are too fattening or unhealthy. If you don't want to eat unhealthy food, DON'T GO TO A FAST FOOD PLACE. Beer is fattening and unhealthy, but I haven't heard anyone complaining about making companies change beer to make it more healthy for the average guzzler.

that isn't any longer McDonald's that is both the human beings or genetics. both human beings pick to devour they're customary or they pick to flow once in a lengthy time period that is superb. McDonald's tastes sturdy and is a short answer if you happen to're on the flow and decide some thing quick. Or genetic 'reason my brother eats no longer some thing yet junk nutrition, quick nutrition and take out and he were given an 8pack of abs and is sturdy muscle. And except for even as i develop into interior the defense force i have continually been 10 to fifteen kilos over weight and am again. I admit although I do over due it each and every from time to time with McDonald's although that is MY fault McDonald's isn't forcing me to flow there.

To remain competitive in today's world, they might want to consider their options.
People are becoming more aware of what is good for their diets. As the consumer becomes more aware of their options, and more concerned about garbage in and clogging to their arteries.it would be smart for Mickey D's to look at what they're offering.
Other fast food places are becoming less resistant to change, why not the king of grease themselves?
It wouldn't be that difficult to change from oils that can cause heart disease to oils that do not do so, would it?
Obesity is a real problem in the US, not only for adults, but also for young people-I think McDonalds should take this into consideration.
Further, change is good and might benefit their corporate image
and their bottom line.
I would advise market research using real, live human taste buds tto make sure the public would respond well to changes prior to marketing new products. Well, let's see how that goes. Stay tuned...

i don't think so - when you go to mcdonalds (or any fast food restaurant for that matter) you know EXACTLY what you're getting and that deliciously greasy taste is the reason why you're going there. no one goes to a fast food joint expecting healthy food, its common knowledge that most food there is certainly not that. The only way I can see mcdonalds or any other place changing the way they make their food is if their business is seriously affected by people choosing healthier alternatives - then maybe they would feel the push to make their foods healthier. Until that happens, I think they'll stay set in their ways considering how successful this unhealthy food has made them.

Overall it is a person's choice as to what fuel they are going to put into their bodies. I think McDonalds has made some changes to its menu to get some healthy choices, but they will always continue to sell burgers and fries.
Should grocery stores stop selling junk food to benefit Americans?

If Americans really wanted healthier food, they wouldn't go to McDonald's. McDonald's niche is serving food fast. This is especially important for parents with hungry children and for people who do not have time to dine in a more traditional restaurant.

I agree with what the majority is saying on here. We don't HAVE to eat at Mcdonald's. We CHOOSE to. Whoever doesn't like Mcdonald's should simply not eat there. Mcdonald's doesn't have a gun to someone's head saying "eat this food or else".

If they're making money leaving the menu like it is, they can continue to leave it as is, and make the money.
We don't have to eat there. Or, if we do choose to eat there, there are salads and things served there, too.
Not a big deal. If people use common sense, they can find something healthy to eat.
