You need to narrow this question down a bit. New York has many excellent universities that teach engineering. From Ivy League Cornell, to RIT, Syracuse, Pace, etc etc.

Why not go to the collegeboard.com website and go through the college search system... it will help you narrow down your choices....

New York state, or New York City?

The city: Columbia and Manhattan College would be my top picks.

The state: I'd also include Rensellaer Polytechnic Institute.
