Wow Mike Dickica got dissed for saying that this is a mans game and people get injured. The older player asking for help from the legue they established failed to realize people like Randy Moss could give a crap less about them. The game has gone from a hard hit game of warriors and honor to game of I am offended give me 15 yards and fine that guy.

There was no excitement in the game because their is not much game left when they dissed Mike D. I was floored here is ahero of the game and they disrepected him.

Prince or SYmbol or the Symbol of Prince:

I could have sang better his voice was junked and he never had the range to sing a foo fighters song one of which I love the best of me. He junked it he is not offensive, I remember when he was considered rude offensive etc, but based on todays lack of ethics he is about as pure as white bread.

Anyway I was vastely under empressed,

were you impressed?

Does the Game state we as Americans are weak rather than warriors

I cant comment on the game because I didnt see it, but I will comment on Prince covering the Foo's Best Of You.
What a slaughter of such a great song. I saw the Foo live a few months ago & again Dec 2005 & even though Dave had sung his heart out alllll night, he still did a better job than Prince.
As far as Im concerned, Prince should stick to Pop & leave Rock to those who can rock.
Do you recall Prince throwing a tantrum over the Foo covering his song, Darling Nikki in 2003? Perhaps the Foo gave permission to Prince to perform it out of obligation & Prince saw it as his opportunity for "payback" or it was his was of saying sorry to the Foo for acting like such a nancy boy & critisising the Foo for doing a better job of Darlink Nikki than he ever could.
I dont know really, I just think Prince should crawl back under that slimy rock ;o)

The Super Bowl does not state anything about the warrior nature of our nation. The rule changes that have occurred over many, many years were put in place to protect the players from long term, often crippling injury. The basic contact and vicarious violence is still there. We still bet on it, argue about it, sometimes even physically fight over it. We still watch it and set aside almost an entire week or more to celebrate the Super Bowl, as if it were some kind of national treasure.
We, as Americans are not particularly weak, but we are a bit vain and self-indulgent.

I think Prince performed one of the best halftime shows in years. Americans aren't weak -- they are litigious and sheep-like, but that has nothing to do directly with football. The NFL has some dumb rules, but in their defense they are trying to protect players as the game evolves, which entails significantly better athletes who are faster and hit harder than those of years past. It is, after all, a GAME. You want to still be alive and functional when it's over.

I think I would have been more impressed if Grossman had played. (Wait a sec... he did?! I must have missed that...) That way, Chicago's defense wouldn't have been exhausted by the third quarter. I was rooting for Chicago, but in the end, it's a game. That said, I hate seeing a game where one of the contenders can't climb to the required level of professionalism and spirit.

I would have been more impressed with your Q if you had bothered to use spell check making it easier to understand.

We are all entitled to our opinion. Yours bothers me. I thought it was an exciting, fun, clean game! Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith proved that there are nice guys in the sport and that they can win. They are the reason their teams got to the Super Bowl. What class!
Mike Ditka is an idiot. Always has been. Always will be.

I thought that Billy Joel stunk but Prince was very entertaining.

The only thing that I thought was ridiculous was that they chose an open air stadium for a game of that magnitude even if it was in south Florida. It's February for cripes sake!

And THOSE are my opinions and I am sticking to them!

Why the anger? It's just a game. Get some counseling and relax.
