How does it work, getting married at sixteen? Does you need both persons parents consent or just one? Do you need a judges consent? Is there any state that you can marry at sixteen without parent consent?

Hey girl i'm 16 and trust me take it from someone who knows dont get married at 16. I havent and I'm glad I said no..... You will reuin your life.....Live life girl....I am madly in love with my ex we arent together yet but we plan on getting back together soon....And we love each other so much we are going to wait.....The longer you wait the more special your relationship becomes. I'm not trying to lecture you, just point you in the right direction. Please listen to my advice.....

no you have to marry with parent consent and you want to get married at 16 i'd say canada you have to be 16 without parents consent and make sure your soon to be hubby is younger than 18 if he's caught taking you out of state for any reason he will go to jail for kidkanp good luck risky

I got married in Michigan. For girls, 18 for guys 20. Otherwise you need a parents signature.

I think that you have to be at least 18 in most states to legally marry. 16 is too young to marry anyway.
