I don't get your Q. What do you mean about the second part? The Super Bowl is always hyped up. Of course it was more so this year because of there being the first African-American coach and not only that, TWO of them. Is that what you mean? And Peyton Manning sure proved himself, as well. Congrats Colts!

Money and to get viewers, look all the super bowl parity's they cost money, even a small party of $25.00 X 100,000 people per state =$250,000.00 X 50 States = $125,000,000.00 and thats the very small party. So think what is that hype worth

It is hyped up because it is a very big money maker. The ad time runs into billions. No hype, no money, no reason to bother with it.

B/c it's the friggin championship game of the biggest most popular professional sport in america. why not hype it up? besides that it was a very entertaining football game w/ a kickoff TD return, tons of fumbles and interceptions (including a "pick six") and a few long bombs thrown. excellent game. wasn't overhyped.

it was the super bowl that's what all the teams strive for to get there i thought it was one of the best super bowls to come along
