I had plantars fasciitis when I lived in the south, went bare foot alot, gained weight and lived in a 1 story concrete foundation home. The doctor told me to put on good tennis shoes (with arch support) each morning and wear them all day. Stretching each morning before I put the shoes on and in the evening when I took them off helped also. It will take time, but you'll feel results in a few weeks, with less pain in the morning. The sites below, explain what it is and what you can do. Good Luck! =)

nothing really...you can try stretching your foot before you get out of bed in the morning...the mornings tend to be the worst time of the day, as the muscle as tightened up all night...other than that you can try some over the counter meds to help with the pain...
