Only if the asker doesn't take time to read further than the first two! From what I've seen, most of the early answers aren't up to much and sense doesn't come into play until you go well down the list.

Not really, unless it is one of those "what is this song" questions and you know the song. Then if you are first you might be picked, but I've seen that NOT happen b4 which is kinda weird. I think its the best answer, not the first answer. most of the time the first answer is stupid and not even a real answer. that's how they got it there so fast.

Depends on the person. As for my questions, all answers have a chance because I don't want to skip any answers that might be extremely funny.

No, not really, because I think if a person reads all the answers then the best answer will be chosen, even if it is the last answer. =)

No, I think the quality of the answer matters. But I notice a lot of people who vy for first answer.

The quality not the quantity is what counts. I don't ever expedite my answers based on hype or dice of life. I base my answers on thought and experience.
