I have not heard that he is a member of our organization, and would almost certainly have heard it, since we usually know what famous people are members. Since there is no main governing body of freemasonry (which should dispell the rumors about us ruling the world), we do not have a master membership list for the whole country. However, he would be more than welcome to join as long as he believes in a higher power and is a good person. Men of any race or creed are allowed to join. My lodge has members from just about every group, including blacks, whites, hispanics, jews, catholics, musllims, and other christian groups.

Are you asking because of the new Johnny Cash video, "God's Gonna Cut You Down?"

I know that in that video, Jay-Z shows his eye thru the "pyramid," but there is also a couple of quick edits of a skull and bones symbol. So I think it would be interesting for him to have the All Seeing Eye, a reference to the Masons, and the Skull and Bones, a reference to NWO/Illuminati/Secret Societies around him. Maybe he's not and wants to expose them. That would be kind of sweet.

That seems to be the big question! It's not known yet if he is or not. And, yes, there are black masons! I wonder if it will come out soon. Masons are pretty tight-lipped, especially for one another. If he is there is nothing wrong with that.
