I went to therapy but it was impossible to heal in such a short period of time, I just came out from an abusive home environment and I did everything in my power to heal, the therapy helped but most of my pregancy I was suicidal. I am afraid for the emotional wellbeing of my baby.
Please tell me if my baby is going to be ok, she will be born in two more months.

Hello sweetie,
I am very very sorry to hear that such a wonderful experience such as giving life was spoilt by your depression. >hug<
You need to know that hormonal changes in your body will bring on this kind of things. I suffered tremendous horrible pregnancy depressions myself. So I know what you are going through
But give yourself time, hun. Obviously your past has a bearing on how you feel, BUT this is only a chemical reactions to your hormonal levels. It affects your way of being at the moment. I promise it will get better even though, you might not think that it will.
Your little one is okay. No she will not be affected by your suicidal thoughts. When you feel bad, just talk to her, tell her how you feel, tell her you love her. Have you tried to play with her?
I tell you what...
This is a game that I played with mine... And it works!! When you feel her move, just put your hand on her and rub her. Then move your hand away....She will move under your hand to get more rubbing. If she pushes her foot out , just tickle it!! She will push even further (ouch!! lol) to be even more tickled. She loves and will love you UNCONDITIONALLY. No matter what yo have lived, what you are feeling like at the moment. Whatever was your past, you can make it right for her and break the mould. ok?
I have been abused physically and emotionally as a child. But, my kids are my treasure. I love them more than anything in the world. No contest.
Another thing, I have found out by personal experience that breastfeeding helps keeping post natal depression at bay. As well, it gives you a very special time with baby. While she feeds, you can cuddle her close, share a "us" moment that no-one else can have. Try it. At least try it.

If you need to talk, email me:

Be strong for her. She will need you.
Hugs to you!!

There is an ancient other halves story that in case you cry plenty throughout being pregnant your child will after its born. I do not feel it of path. Also I am no longer certain approximately the pressure affecting the child up to the being pregnant, it might probably reason early supply , top blood strain and so on which places the Baby at danger that means. I feel it could have be quiet plenty of pressure to take action despite the fact that - like one primary occasion or a regular move of pressure via the being pregnant. I had a really healthful being pregnant and an excessively healthful child despite the fact that she used to be early. When I used to be four months alongside a near loved ones member passed on to the great beyond after which whilst I used to be five months an extended I misplaced my brother. I helped lift him and a massive aspect of me is long past in view that of this. I controlled to preserve myself beautiful well. My woman used to be born 2 months early however I do not feel it used to be in view that of this, I will quite ever recognize.

I was in severe depression while I was pregnant. My son is a year and a half, and has never shown any signs of being affected by it. He's a very healthy, happy little boy, and always has been.

This is something you might want to ask your doctor about though.

the only way it would affect your baby is if you took meds for it. otherwise you should be fine.
