its actually a regular thing in the NFL for a team to switch Hotels the night b4 the big game..They usually do this so they can have privacy, when they r at the 1st hotel their families are allowed to stay with them....When they switch, families are not allowed to join them....

It has happened before that a team will change their hotels a night before a game because they would lke to have their privacy before the game and if they do it the day before it might draw as much attention as if done earlier. In other words , the people would not get too much of an opportunity tosistract themand bother them from their intended purposes. The Raiders are one example of this manuever before Super Bowl XVIII.

Maybe they were afraid some bears fans would make a lot of noise and keep them up all night???
