well i'm an Aquarius and my boyfriend is a Virgo.. we seem very compatable most the time..
I had done the Yahoo compatability chart when we first met and was discouraged because it seemed that virgo and aquarius weren't realy to compatable without alot of understanding and work but thats true in any relationship.
we're both pretty shy I think anyway not sure if he'd agree with that though..
I think one thing i've learned about him is that he almost always has to think things thru completely before voicing his opinion and I usualy just blurt out the first thing that comes to my mind.. whether someone asks for my opinion or not usualy.. lol
communication is very important because we both do tend to hide our feelings so in order that things are not misunderstood its important to talk..
as for the manners the other poster mentioned.. not all Virgos don't have manners thats just a man thing as it is with some women to.. My boyfriend is very well mannered and the most even tempered person i've ever met.. and at one time a great romantic..

I think Aquarius is way too unstable for Virgo, who are at their best leading a well-ordered life. They are both intellectual signs, but underneath that tough exterior, Virgo has a very tender heart and is extremely sensitive; Aquarius tends to be brusque and rather cool.
Virgo likes routine and "normalcy", while Aquarius is constantly seeking out the new and different. And in spite of their symbol being the "virgin", Virgo is likely to be far more highly sexed than Aquarius.
My opinion would be that it's a pretty poor match.

i am a virgo, my boyfriend is an aquarius...we have been together for a year 1/2, and we are still going strong!
virgo's are not nessacarily shy, just withdrawn...i will use myself for an example...i dont like to talk about my feelings, and i hate to say it, but sometimes i have a strong sense of pride...i like to be in control of a lot of things and its kinda hard to gain my trust, and easy to lose it...but of course, im not all bad lol, most virgos are caring, and once we get to know someone, we are very loyal and stable in a relationship...

like i said, my boyfriend and i are still in so much love, we cant even see straight...and its incredible how much we have in common...(believe it or not lol)

I agree with sunshines completely!!! I was married to one and was trying to have a long distance with one years ago,and trust me it will not work. I am just like you, if I hear he is virgo, I turn and walk away. Too much past baggage.

aqua girls dont get along with virgo men. i'm an aquarian. i don't like them. for one to my standards they are too cheap, and not romantic enough for me. and unless they are into you deeply, they don't have enough manners either. i met 3 and cut them off in seconds. no explanation just no phone calls.
