I changed my password and turn off the firewall for these programs but still unsuccessful in logging on to either messenger. Anyone have the same problems or have suggestions? I have limited computer knowledge. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are still lot of programs that are not vista ready yet. Just because vista came out does not make it compatible with everything the Windows XP is compatible with. You should try to just install Yahoo first if that is your primary internet source.

Just guessing thought, but if you downloaded Yahoo try to get on this first. Maybe if you downloaded MSN later it messed things up. So you may have to do one thing at a time.

Start over and just try to get access to the internet first. Then one by one load programs on. So Yahoo should load on but see to access an internet site first.

Go to cnet.com as they have a forum there and help on this kind of problems. Also keep pcworld.com in mind too.
