No. Anything different than us that can talk should be exterminated with extreme prejudice!!! I kid I kid. As long as they would respect our ways, this being our planet and everything, I don't see why there would be a problem. Besides, the whole advanced technology thing could be of use to us, I'm sure. As long as we don't follow our old ways and use it to make weapons.

Seeing how we react to other members of our own species who may differ in culture or skin colour I suspect it would be a disaster. better to keep us away from other intelligent species until we grow up as a species.
