Last night, after the SB game, I was leaving my daughter's house & she has a thermometer outside on a tree & it read at 10 degrees. It was very windy, also. This morning when I woke up it was 5 degrees. I am in South Jersey. They seem to dodge a lot of bullets in this part of the country concerning cold and snow, & up until a couple weeks ago, it has been unusually warm here. I have heard that Philadelphia (30 minutes away from me) had their coldest day in 2 years just yesterday it is going to get worse. I just moved up here last year from South Florida !!!

I live near Pittsburgh, PA. It's 1 degree right now. With the windchill it's -18. All the schools have cancellations, so I was gonna go shopping, but the roads are too bad to actually travel anywhere. Enjoy your nice winter weather in Texas. I'm jealous.

Minus 12 degrees in Chicago...that's 12 degrees below zero to all you crybabies who think 50 is "freezing". And that ain't "wind chill"--the windchill temp is -24.

No offense to Texas, but in Austin they got a little ice and 2 flakes of snow and they shut the whole town down---Gladys couldn't watch her Ellen show because of it!

It was 8'C (45'F) here on Canada's west coast today. Quite a different story in the eastern part of the nation where one can get flash frozen.
