That sounds like the heat shield over the exhaust manifold. One loose or broken bolt can leave you with a tinny rattle that changes with engine speed.

It sounds as if its knackered . - if you drive anything like me your 1 litre Corsa will be in serious need of some mechanical surgery.. use your feminine charm on one of the young guys at Kwik Fit...they will only be too pleased to help you...

i used to have something similar on a VW. It turned out to be the wheel bearings!! That was dangerous. Get it checked ASAP

its possible that the anti rattle springs on the front brake pads have become dislodged or broken, get it looked as soon as it may be dangerous

next time You go for oil change, make that comment to the mechanic(sort of ,by the way....)do not make a big deal, in front of the mechanic ,let him talk about it

I should take it to a garage you trust not to rip you off and ask their advice. You don't even have to use them to fix it if you ask them to quote a price first and it seems unreasonable.
