I have schizoid and I seem drawn to Gnosticism do they have something in common?

Not by their own nature, but it could be so for you. Gnosticism is a mystical form of Christianity that was mainstream in the early centuries A.D. "Gnosis" means "knowing" and it refers to knowing from within, intuitively. It is the same thing as what the Self-Realization Fellowship (based in Los Angeles) means by "Self-Realization". It is spirituality, as distinct from "organized religion".

The question to discern is whether you are someone who has dangerous thoughts pumping away in their head (dangerous to self and/or others), or whether someone has labeled you schizoid because of some spiritual experience(s). The latter could come from a past life as a Gnostic Christian or from many other true or partly-true origins, most of which most psychiatrists know tipota (nothing) about.
