The most wonderfully enlightening and yet confusing things related to any philosophy is that in general it's "cyclical" Meaning it changes over periods of time, often within a single decade.

Beyond that any philosophy of a positive nature demands expansions, and NO ONE "thinks" like another. To suggest there is a difference between idealism and happy is pretty difficult in trying to define strictly anyway.

IE: IDEALLY I'd very much enjoy knowing that our WORLD could come to terms with PEACE. HAPPILY, I'd celebrate such an epiphany.

Hi!

I'm back,
The main difference that I saw was that Plato was more mystical and more aware of spirituality ... for want of another word.

Aristotle seems to me to be more rooted in the everyday, worldly morality of a man's life..

But, they both aimed at the same thing: an
acceptance of the presence of good . ... and bad... and the necessity of choosing
the good.

I am sure your teacher, however, must have given a hint here and there what he
wanted you to see and think about ... AND!
I just found a teriffic thought in Aristotle:
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." ..... so it means that (heh heh!) in order to get a good mark, you may as well jiggle the latch and figure out what your teacher wants.... but you can keep your own opinion, too.

Peace

The difference lies in how one perceives the rich thoughts of these great souls!
