I know that Tupac read Niccolo Machiavelli's "The Prince" while in prison and that it had an impact on his work. However, I am having difficulty finding SPECIFIC examples (lyrics, poetry, etc.) that illustrate this. Any help or information? Links?

all I know is Machiavelli faked his own death and many people think Tupac did as well.

You would probably be better off searching for the similarities between Tupak and the Black Panthers... That's more like it!

Tupac studied the books available to him while in prison... Every Mobster that ever came before him planted them there for criminals to discover an entitled sense of privilege and provide them with organization and a sociopathic set of rules that back and better the life of a thug.

Black, White, Italian... All who used Machiavelli out of context came out in a shameful, bloody end that did nothing for their race, people or cause.

Tupak and John Gotti are both dead... and although royalty were often criminals... Criminals are rarely royalty.
